Lecturing at the International Illustration, Comics and Animation Conference at Dartmouth College

I was privileged to give a lecture entitled: Wolves in the City: Algeria and Colonialism in Comics at the International Illustration, Comics and Animation Conference at Dartmouth College this past February. The conference was well-attended and students at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont also participated. It was a wonderful experience.

Gary Panter Working at Missouri Western

In late April, it was my pleasure and privilege to have Gary Panter visit the campus of Missouri Western as its Visiting Artist. The students loved him -- and what's not to love? Gary was kind and generous and was willing to share his stories and experiences as an artist with us. His visit was a real gift, and it was wonderful making a new friend.
