The Port of Algiers -- 4-plate polymer photogravure. This image came from a 1950's era photograph that I re-drew, editing out superfluous details and heightening the contrasts. I then scanned the drawing into the computer and assigned colors to the piece, made color separations and exposed them to photosensitized polymer plates. Then I printed them up! Image size, 8"x10".
